Your Stay

Our site is strictly no smoking (including E-cigarettes) other than the car park area where you’ll find a designated area. Please ensure to safely and appropriately discard cigarette ends in the bucket provided, as they can be harmful to our cattle if discarded on the ground.

Please be respectful of neighbouring pods, and our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum in the evenings. In the event of an emergency, contact numbers whilst on site:

Craig – 07411 656589 / Clair – 07921 865121 / Landline – 01278 760863

Check out is 10am on day of departure (apart from Sunday departures with 4pm check out). Please leave your key in your pod on checking out.

Your Pod

Being on a farm, we are not on mains drainage and therefore have to be extra careful with waste water. Please do not flush anything other than toilet roll down the toilet, and dispose of any other sanitary products in the bins provided.

Your TV is connected to the internet; feel free to log into any personal accounts you have (Netflix etc), just log out before you leave.

To connect to the speaker, press the Bluetooth button to activate pairing mode on speaker, then open your phone/device Bluetooth settings; search for devices. ‘Pair’ or ‘Connect’ with JBL. The speaker can be unplugged and used on battery; please be respectful of others if using outside your pod.

Before showering, ensure to remove the toilet roll and hand towel so it doesn’t end up soggy! After using the shower, where possible, please leave the ensuite door open and the fan running to air the ensuite; this helps us maintain the high standards of our pods. Your bed can be raised from the middle at the bottom; this can be used for storage during your stay, and you’ll find spare toilet roll and a clothes airer here too.

We have a very friendly farm cat (Nellie) so we advise keeping the door closed if you’re not nearby, just in case she lets herself in! Please do not let her in the pods.

The electric heater works on a thermostat; simply set the temperature using the arrows, and it will kick in and out as needed to maintain the temperature you choose. Please be mindful the pods get very warm, very quickly!

If you’ve brought a BBQ, please do not place on the grass or decking; please ask and we can provide bricks, or use on the gravel.

Please recycle as much as possible during your stay, using the bucket outside your pod or black bins near the communal. Green food bag are provided in your pod and communal.

In the event of a power cut, or for use during your stay, there is a torch provided in the kitchen cupboard. A powder fire extinguisher is provided in the kitchen cupboard.

Communal Facilities

You are welcome to use our communal facilities during your stay; please leave the area as you would expect to find it when you have finished.

The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, extra fridge space, kettle and toaster. There is a small dining area, as well as an honesty shop with goodies, local map and information as well as takeaway menus.

Games are available to borrow from the white cupboard in the kitchen area; please replace/swap during your stay to allow everyone a chance to use them. The first aid kit is located in the same white cupboard.

A fire blanket and powder extinguisher is provided in the kitchen.

The fire pit is a communal facility; we restock wood daily, blankets are provided in the communal dining area and firelighters and lighter can be found in one of the top kitchen cupboards. Please ensure these are replaced after use, and kept away from children.
